Its position and competence are both modified by the law about municipalities No. 128/2000 as amended by the act of further changes and regulations. Requests for information, according to law §13 No.106/1999 Sb. concerning the free access to information, are provided in written form via post to the address of the municipal authority, at a registry room or at the particular department of the Town Hall.

- Appeals against decisions concerning the information supply request refusal is provided in written form by post or at the Town Hall registry room within 15 days of the delivery date.
- Regarding appeals the final decision is made by the Moravian-Silesian Regional Authority

Tariff of recoveries regarding the information supply
The price of a copy if the information is supplied in a form of photocopy is:
- Black & white copy A4 format
- single-sided copy 2 CZK
- double-sided copy 3 CZK
- A3 format
- single-sided copy 3 CZK
- double-sided copy 4 CZK
- The price of a data storage disc or other devices if the information is supplied in a form of record -diskette/CD/DVD - 10 CZK
- The price of a computer output is supplied in a form of printing - common format A4, black and white 2 CZK/page, format A4 colored 5 CZK, A3 black and white 3 CZK, A3 colored 10 CZK.
- Postal charges if the required information is sent by post according to the postal services tariff, other fees like packing are not charged
- Personal costs if the processing and searching time exceeds 1 hour, each extra hour is a charge of 100 CZK
Information will be supplied to applicants after the payment receiving either to the bank account or at the registry cash desk.
